Updated Aug. 2, 2009

This discography lists the CDs on which Akino Arai has the lead vocal in a song. I do NOT include CDs in which Arai was only the composer, lyricist or a chorus singer (such as in some of the Zabadak CDs). This list is FAR from complete; I am still adding information. So far, I am listing only the songs that she sang; I may include complete tracklists if I get such requests. ^_^

These CDs are listed in alphabetical order.

NOTE: This CD also lists track 5, "Ai no TEEMA ~ Believe in Your Love," from the "L'Empereur" game soundtrack (KECH-1004), as being sung by Arai. However, in the L'Empereur soundtrack, the singer is credited as Eri Morishita. After listening to the songs, I'm pretty sure Arai is NOT the singer. "Ai no TEEMA" also appears on the CD "The Best of KOEI vol. 3" (KECH-1030), and those liner notes also credit Morishita as the singer.

  • PUREPURE vol. 6
    March 1997

    CD cover

This isn't a music CD, but a collection of game demos and game
commercials for various Japanese Playstation games (original PlayStation).

  • Catalog number: PCPX-96063-4
  • 2 discs
  • Released 1997 by Sony Computer Entertainment

Song: Disc 2 - CM Collection II:
    BERUDESERUBA Senki (Veldeselba Senki)

NOTE: I am listing this game only because "BERUDESERUBA Senki" is so difficult to get since the game has no soundtrack released on music CDs. If you can get your hands on this AND have a Playstation that can play Japanese games, you can hear the song. Pop in the second disc (titled "CM Collection II") and press right on the D-pad to choose the second "TV screen" and let the resulting movie play. The first part talks about the game (all in Japanese, of course) if you want to see it. If not, simply press the Circle button to skip it, and it will go to the Veldeselba title screen. LEAVE IT ON THAT SCREEN and the song will play. I'm currently trying to record the song to cassette.

If you'd like to find this disc, your best bet is the Yahoo Japan auctions. Do a search in katakana for "PUREPURE" and you should pull up a few auctions. To learn how to navigate YJ, read my YJ tutorial.

  • Veldeselba Senki
    ~Tsubasa no Kunshou~

    (BERUDESERUBA Senki)

    CD cover

This isn't a music CD, but a video game for the
Playstation that was never released in the U.S.

  • Catalog number: SCPS-10027
  • Released 1997 by Sony

    Song: BERUDESERUBA Senki

NOTE: The song "BERUDESERUBA Senki" was released on audio CD only as part of a magazine collection that is very difficult to get ahold of. Otherwise, there is no soundtrack released for this game. If you can get your hands on this AND have a Playstation that can play Japanese games, you can hear the song. Pop in the game disc, let it load, and LEAVE IT ON THE TITLE SCREEN. The song will play.

I've asked a friend to extract the song from the game disc, but unfortunately no success so far. I am currently trying to record this song to cassette.

If you'd like to find this game, your best bet is the Yahoo Japan auctions. Do a search in katakana for "BERUDESERUBA" and you should pull up a few auctions. To learn how to navigate YJ, read my YJ tutorial.
